The shoot

One day, filmed casually on your phone. Wake up, coffee, gym or work, studio time, outfit laid out, then arriving at Surge. Five to seven short clips, no long talking.

Where MYST goes

The whole day builds toward it. Open with on screen text "day in my life the week I play MYST" and close on the venue or the poster with "Fri 14 Aug" on screen.

The shoot

Overhead or side angle on the laptop or controller. Drop three or four track IDs, blend two of them live, react to the transition. Minimal talking, let the mix carry it.

Frame it as literally building the MYST set: "picking the three tracks I'm opening MYST with on the 14th." People love knowing what they are walking into.

The shoot

Take a song nobody expects in a club. A throwback, a Cpop or Kpop track, a meme song, something slow. Mix it into a club edit on camera and give a verdict at the end.

Make the payoff the event: "if this gets 100 comments I'm playing it at MYST on the 14th." This is the strongest engagement format on the list and it gives people a reason to actually turn up.

Production notes

• Vertical only, filmed on your phone. No horizontal footage.
• Hook in the first two seconds. Movement or a face, never a logo.
• Keep it in your own voice. If it looks like an ad it will not perform.
• Trending audio suits concepts 01, 02 and 05. Your own mix audio suits 03, 04 and 06.
• Reply to comments for the first hour after posting. It matters more than the edit.
• Anything you are unsure about, send it to us before you post. We would rather check than fix.
