Overhead or side angle on the laptop or controller. Drop three or four track IDs, blend two of them live, react to the transition. Minimal talking, let the mix carry it.

The shoot

Take a song nobody expects in a club. A throwback, a Cpop or Kpop track, a meme song, something slow. Mix it into a club edit on camera and give a verdict at the end.

Make the payoff the event: "if this gets 100 comments I'm playing it at MYST on the 14th." This is the strongest engagement format on the list and it gives people a reason to actually turn up.

Selfie camera, talk straight to your followers. No edit, no transitions, no trending sound. Film it anywhere that looks decent. Car, bedroom, studio, outside the venue. One take is fine and honestly better.

What to say

Keep it to three beats. Who you are and that you have news, that you are playing MYST at Surge on Hindley St on Friday 14 August, and one line on what you are bringing or who you want to see there. Then tell them to grab a ticket. Say the date out loud and put it on screen as well.
